Sailboat Design, Brand New...Magic Dragon

Sailboat Design took us about 6 months working everything out, total work in progress.

We completely designed Magic Dragon, she is one of a kind.

We tried hiring several Navel Architects, but what we wanted was too far outside the normal box. We sat in meetings and were presented plans to a sailboat blue print and it was like they did not hear what we were saying.

There were know no options, we did not want to settle for a design that wasn't ours. Pay someone thousands of dollars and end up with something that we couldn't call comfortable for us.

This was not easy by no means, it was a up hill climb... There were several books that absolutely helped with coming up with designing, building, welding this boat.

Many hours were poured into drawings...

When we first started the plans we tried several computer programs to help us. We could not get the programs to preform some of the angles. They might have better ones out there now. So we did everything the old fasion way pencil and paper.
