I would like to see and visit with Jessica Watson and her parents. I have nothing against Obama after all he is our President, but our youth are just as important because our future is in their hands also...

There may have been some Democrats at the Glenn Beck rally Saturday, but even many of them aren't happy with the country's direction. Does the large turnout portend trouble for Democrats?
One hundred to two hundred thousand people attended a rally organized by Fox TV commentator, Glenn Beck, at the foot of the Lincoln memorial. Although it was avowedly "non-political," Sarah Palin was one of the main speakers and the crowd resembled very much the Tea Party crowd.
Jess will be in NY for a week after Labor Day but it appears very few Americans know or even care.
I just Googled "New York" "Jessica Watson" and this blog was on the first page of results but absolutely nothing about her visit in the media.
Maybe Americans worry about really important stuff like "What is Snookie doing?"... If I had a choice between meeting Jessica Watson or Obama... it would not be Obama...

Ok Jessica did a wonderfull thing, all credit to her but "Sailing Ambassador" I dont think so. There are so many more worthy people in the business. It stinks of political point scoring. If a ballot had been had been conducted with Oz sailors I think there would have been a very different result.
Next times Jules ask sailors about sailors.
