Food Grade Plastic Water Tanks...

Food Grade Plastic is a thermal plastic which means that it will melt to itself. That is why we used it to build so many items on our boat.

It is very easy to cut with any wood working tools. Use a plastic cutting blade or the Dewalt DW #3176 blade on the circular saw or table saw. Most of the other blades cause too much heat and the plastic will melt to it. The edges can be finished with a router

Make sure you clean all dust, dirt, oils off of the plastic before you weld. Lacquer thinner, alcohol, mineral spirits do the job just fine.

This material has been used to build this boats refrigerators liner, fresh water tanks, shower sump, shower bottle holder, battery boxes, engine drip pan, and many more small items.

The great thing is the plastic doe not rust, rot, mold, and it is also an insulator and chemical resistant.

This product is also known as Polymer sheets, the FDA, US food and drug Administration requires plastic used for food or drinking water to be free of what contaminates (quality of being pure).

This water tank holds...one hundred gallons

You can use this in a lot of different applications, you can even make cutting boards with it.
